The TeenSMART Outreach
Program provides
information, education
and outreach to teens 12
to 19 years of age. Our
aim is to reduce the
risk of unintended
pregnancy and “STI”s (Sexually Transmitted Infections) among
adolescents.
Innovative outreach
strategies are utilized
and teens are given
information to help them
make informed decisions
about their reproductive
health, sexual behavior,
and birth control,
including abstinence
education.
TeenSMART supplies
information regarding
access to clinical
family planning
services. Many teens
don't know where to go
or how to get
information on these
services. TeenSMART
services for adolescents
are free or low cost
and confidential.
